Cultural Holiday Reminder

Reminder to All Staff: please make sure you have taken your Cultural Holiday by 12/31/07. It is recommended to record it in PeopleSoft by Wednesday, 12/19/07 to allow your supervisor time to approve it in the system. Until it is posted, it will not be recorded as taken and you may loose it.

On 1/1/08 you will earn another Cultural Holiday and hours are not carried over from calendar year to calendar year.

You can send your supervisor an e-mail to alert them that you have entered benefit time. It will post that night and the supervisor will be able to approve it the next business day. Until this process is complete, balances on your pay stub will not be updated. The balances live in the system, however, are accurate each time you enter benefit time.

In Donna's absence, the Dean's Office is able to approve anyone's time in the interim for DOE.

Thanks and feel free to call Jean Evans with any questions at 656-0824 or your department's money manager.
