The Center for Cultural Pluralism Seminars

The Center for Cultural Pluralism has organized the following series of special seminars to engage our community in awareness, understanding and meaningful actions. The first at 5pm on Sept 17th is free and open to the public with three experts discussing microaggression. The three sessions on September 18th from 9-12pm require registration. Free to UVM faculty, staff and students.

Upcoming CTL Workshops on the Blackboard Learning Environment

We are now offering basic workshops on Blackboard campus-wide. The first workshop is on "Getting Started with Blackboard". This workshop will be a pre-requisite for the next series of more advanced Blackboard workshops so you might want to attend now!!

Description:
This one hour workshop introduces the Blackboard interface. It provides an overview of features, including the instructor's tools for building courses and structuring course content. There will be an opportunity to add content to your own practice course space. This workshop is meant to be a beginner experience. No prior knowledge of Blackboard or WebCT is necessary.
