2008 Outstanding Teacher Day - Oct 22
October 22, 2008 is Outstanding Teacher Day! For twenty-eight years, The University of Vermont’s College of Education & Social Services and Vermont Supervisory Unions & School Districts have joined to honor Outstanding Teachers.
All Outstanding Teachers exemplify one or more of the Five Standards for Vermont Educators -- learning, professional knowledge, advocacy, colleagueship, and accountability. Typically, 90-100 teachers are nominated for this award each year with over 45 school districts in Vermont participating.
This year's event will be held at The University of Vermont on Wednesday, October 22, 2008 from 3:00pm – 6:00pm.
