Service Learning Opportunities
Colleagues - a reminder on service learning opportunities. Please nominate and celebrate our CESS colleagues for their service learning achievements.
1. Faculty Implementation Grants for Service-Learning:* these grants (up to $1000) are available to support faculty in creating or revising service-learning courses, or creating long-term partnerships that will enhance service-learning courses. Grant applications and more information are available here.
2. 2008 Outstanding Service-Learning Awards:* these awards recognize faculty, community partners, and students who have contributed meaningfully to successful service-learning projects/courses. ALL NOMINEES are recognized at a reception on April 29th. Take this opportunity to shed light on the amazing work that is being done to support student learning and community initiatives.
